About the hotel
THE BOKA HOTEL, AN INEXPENSIVE BED AND BREAKFAST HOTEL IDEAL FOR THE BUDGET CONCIOUS TRAVELLER OR BUSINESS PERSON. LESS THAN ONE MINUTE WALK TO EARLS COURT EXHIBITION CENTRE AND THE UNDERGROUND STATION
It is centrally located and convenient for all the places of interest. The hotel itself is located in a residential street in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Please note that the Boka Hotel caters for the budget traveller and provides basic bed and breakfast facilities. It has 52 rooms. A complimentary cooked breakfast is provided. All rooms have individually controlled heating. The hotel is compliant with current safety standards and holds a current Fire Certificate issued by the LFEPA.
The hotel is currently trialling Def Guard a device for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing which works in conjunction with the Fire Alarm and also acts as an Alarm Clock, these are in limited supply during trial , please mention on booking if you would require one if available.
Please note , as with all of Central London, CAR PARKING IS VERY DIFFICULT . Unfortunately the hotel DOES NOT have PRIVATE PARKING but there are meters nearby and three Pay Car Parks all within five minutes walk of the hotel. If using Pay and Display Parking please read the accompanying notes on the meter ! They do vary in areas of London.
The Boka is currently undergoing refurbishment to upgrade all the facilities and rooms , this is being carried out section by section so as not to disrupt the guests.
Visitors to London may find the following webpage useful ticket-on-line . com , it allows you to buy in advance Travel Cards for London Transport. This is much cheaper than paying for each individual journey. Remember though to save money it may be advisable to purchase a travelcard that covers Zones 1 and 2 for travel whilst you are in London which will cover most of the areas of interest and a seperate ticket for your journey to and from Heathrow or Gatwick etc as these are on outer zones and you will only need them for your jouney to and from the airport.
Remember do take care when making your reservation if you make a mistake and if the hotel is very busy it is not always possible to alter the room type when you are at the hotel, check the room type is what you require , please do note that if you book a room with Bath that means it has a private bathroom and a Basic means there are showers and toilets available outside the room. These rooms are of course different prices.
